Sleep traning day 7

Jacob has co-slept with us since he has been born (when he was a newborn he was in a bassinet right next to me)

Hubby and I enjoy Jacob right in between us but he has gotten too big for our queen size bed.
We decided it was time for him to be a big boy and get in his own bed from now on.

We have a crib that changed into a toddler bed, so now he has a big boy bed to go with his big boy self. I even got him an awesome Toy Story blanket.

I don't know the "correct" way to sleep train a toddler, so I'm just making it up as I go along.

We blew up a air mattress and hubby and I would take turns sleeping with him in his room. Everything is going great until Day 2 (hubby's turn). I could hear him screaming and crying at 1am calling out for "MOMMY MOMMY!" So as you might have already guessed.... I ended up on that air mattress all 7 nights.

While I am in there with him, he would wake up, look to see if I am there and he would fall back asleep.
Well by the 4th night my back was killing me......

Tonight we are installing a baby gate at the end of the hall... I will sleep in my own room with hubby and if Jacob wakes up he can cry/walk on over to my room, and I don't have to worry about him going to the rooms that aren't baby proof (bathroom and hubby's office).

I am pretty sure he won't sleep thur the night without crying bloody murder, but for Pete sake! Mommy needs to sleep on a real mattress.

Starting to feel alot like winter

It has been really warm this winter so far.
Yesterday we finally had some snow.
I usually dislike snow, but I was hoping for a few short inches so Jacob can walk around and play in it. Last year he was too small to play in the snow.
His awesome pair of snow boots has been un-touched!!

Oh well maybe next time.....

Toy Story obsessed

So Jacob finally has a toy and movie he LOVES:
Toy Story!
He is seriously obsessed with the whole toy story gang.

My brother who is also a huge toy story fan has all 3 movies and loaned it to Jacob. Now everyday he will ask for Woody... its woody woody all day long! (he could watch the movie 10 times in a row if I let him)

and for Christmas my bestie got him a Plush woody and buzz doll

He loves them both, but clearly WOODY is his main guy. He takes them everywhere with him.

He sits them on the couch, feeds them treats, gives them lots of hugs & kisses and tells them "luv youuuu" (feeling a little jealous here lol) I must admit... its nice knowing if I had to do something, all I have to do it pop in the DVD and he will sit still for an hour

He has never been attached to dolls or blankets before. So it's so great to finally see him love something so much and actually being gentle with his toys (he usually throws everything he can get his little hands on)

I do want to get him the actual talking toy verison of Buzz and Woody for his 2nd birthday, but in the mean time these plush are prefect for him.

He also calls Mr Potato Head "Tay Tay" hahaha too cute!

Big Boy Coo and his many nicknames

WOW, he has gotten so big in a year!

Do not ask me why he had no shoes on last year, cause I have no idea. but I can assure you that he had them on THIS year.

You may notice I call him Coo alot (in videos mostly).

He is a boy with a thousand nicknames (given to him by family and our friends)

Coo sticks with me the most because I have been calling that since the day he was born. He used to make this "O" with his mouth and would make this noise like "coooooo" lol aww I sure miss that :)

Happy New Year Everyone!!

I had a great 4 day weekend off! We spent the next few days sleeping in a little later than my usual 5am call and just doing some light cleaning around the house.

On NYE we took Jacob to see the early fireworks show at 6pm. He was totally unimpressed with it all. He watch for a few minutes and opt to run around on the grass area instead.
The weather that night was awesome... 52 degrees, unheard of! It felt like spring! (today is a different story... 17 degrees tonight)

I thought that was an awesome way to kick off the new year. I am so excited to see what this year will bring me and my family.

I have 4 months left to plan Jacob's 2nd Birthday party!

I can't believe Christmas is almost here!! I am super excited. I have been to the mall so many times in the past week. I can't believe I am saying this nut I am sick of the mall. I am mall-ed out. See ya next year MALL!! There were way too many people... rude people who walks so fast and bumping into my stroller.. rude, annoying, stinky people....
Anywho.... we waited to hours for santa, we were trying to teach him "cheese" and smile for the camera, he went along with it and didn't seem to care when he saw all the other kids crying and screaming for their lives on santa's lap. Infact.. he was waving HI to santa and everything.. smiling and playing... but as soon as I put him on santa's lap...he gave me THIS face. He didnt cry.... he gave me this "deer caught in the headlight look".... the same look as last year. Maybe he will smile NEXT year.

I am in such a good mood tonight, maybe its because of the holiday coming up, or that today was my last day of work (until next Tuesday) or that bottle of wine I just finished................yea I think it's all the above combined.

I can't wait till tomorrow night, spending Christmas eve over my parents house, Christmas day with the in-laws, and Monday will be my "do nothing but lounge around all day" day.

Holiday Party/Pot luck at the office. I was in charge of the decorations :)

Jacob's First Dentist Appointment and weekend recap

It went really well! I was shocked at how good he was being. He opened his mouth nice and wide for them to clean. He never opens that wide for ME!

BUT, his gums are swollen and infected. The infection is due to the combo of him teething and a cold he caught.   The dentist said he was in a lot of pain which was why he hasn't been eating.
Poor baby :(

It seem like he had so much fun at the dentist, he didn't want to leave! He got some toys, a tooth brush and a sticker! He was such a happy camper.

His appetite is slowly coming back, He ate a lot more yesterday then he did in 3 weeks.

After the dentist, we tried taking pictures with Santa. Santa was super busy cause there was a 2 hour wait.    I looked at my husband and knew Jacob would not sit in his stroller for that long without freaking out. So we had to skip Santa's lap.   We are hoping to go to Sesame Place for the Very furry Christmas event this coming Saturday and we will see Santa there.   We can only go if Jacob is feeling 100% better. He still has a very stuffy nose.

Sunday was uneventful, we stayed home, I made congee (Chinese dish: rice soup), did some house work, laundry... the boring stuff.

Ohh and I dyed my hair. I decide to just go back to my roots, dark brown...

I got the Garnier Nutrisse in Sweet Cola, which is a dark brown.

and of course it looks BLACK on my head.

Feeling a little goth right now, but after a few wash I am sure it will lighten up a little bit, so it will look more natural.

I had to ask her what brand it was and where I could get it. She was super nice and gave me all the details. She is one of my favorite YT moms, she is super stylish and gives out great beauty and fashion advice. (plus she has a great collection of bags)

I have been looking for a crossbody clutch, and this is prefect.
For my Birthday, 2 of my good friends (Alice and Jen) gave a a nordstrom Gift Card. So I knew excatly what I wanted to do with that card.

I took 2 weeks to decide on what color I want. It was down to That red

I did what any girl would do. I took a poll with my best girl friends. The red won :)

I actually Love all the colors so maybe I will get another one. Christmas IS right around the corner....

Crazy Hair Lady

My hair is hot mess right now!

I need to trim my hair, I need a hot oil treatment, I need to dye it (I have like 2 inches of roots showing), oh heck I need to just shave my head and start all over!

I keep making appointments and canceling it.. I think my hair dresser is sick of me right now.
I am also very indecisive, keep it long?, cut it short? stay lighter? go darker? bangs or no bangs? highlights? lowlights?

Right now I am thinking about violet black for my color.

This way I can get my hair darker without feeling bored. I am a gal who had every color of the rainbow on her head. So a little violet doesn't scare me.

This weekend is pretty packed, I will make an appointment for next Saturday and I will try my best to keep it. Lord knows I need to do SOMETHING with the mop.

Non-Cooking Fridays

It's Friday! I call it "non-cooking Fridays" This is the one day out of the week I refuse to cook.

Being a full time working mom, my weekday is really busy.

I get up at 5am
Drop off my son at my mom's
go to work
come home and cook
feed Jacob
feed myself and hubby
clean dishes (Hubby and I take turns with bathing Jacob and doing the dishes so I will never have to do both on the same night)
Bathe Jacob
figure out what is for dinner the next night, take things out to de-froze and etc
cut up some fruit for dessert (This week is grapes and Jacob loves feeling them to me)
then it's off to bed for story time
and then finally sleep

So on Fridays I do not cook nor clean! Hubby takes me out to a restaurant or we order take out. This way I get to spend some time hanging out with Jacob before his bed time.

I think every mom deserve to have a night off at least once a week.

Nothing like Momma's Cooking...

Everyone thinks their mom are the best cook in the world, and I am no different.

(although I can't ever imagine Jacob ever saying that about ME. I am a terrible cook, just ask my husband)

I LOVE my mom's cooking, from the seafood, to the beef, to the honey chicken (that my hubby loves so much) and to her SOUPS!

Soup are HUGE in Chinese culture, some medicinal, some helps skin, some will help you lose weight, gain weight, some for after childbirth, some to help get over colds and the list goes on and on.

I love all types of soup, Chinese, Vietnamese , Korean, American, Thai, loas, Italian, french... Let's just say "if it’s a soup... I'm trying it!"

So when she texted me yesterday asking me to stop by after work to pick up some soup, I was so there!

Jacob also loves soup, especially right now. He is teething and the only thing he will eat is soup mixed with rice. So this is perfect for him.

She made my all time favorite vegetable soup.

My Favorite quick and instant Lunch

Buying lunch everyday at work can get really expensive. So whenever I get a chance to stop by H-Mart, I always pick up a box (for four) of these Udon Noodles, its yummy, super easy to make and its cheap $2.50 each. It really fills me up!

Just add hot water and pop it in the microwave for 3 minutes

and you will have some Yummy Goodness!!!

Look who's 19 Months today!

Where does the time go????

He is 19 months today! In a blink of an eye, my little baby love turn into a big boy love!

Current Shows: caillou and super why. He still likes his Sesame street but he is totally into caillou these days.

He is learning things at such a fast pace... it's kinda scaring me a little.

He tells me what he wants to eat, by saying "Yessssss" (he drags out his "s") or "No!"

He can say YOGURT!

He throws his own diapers away in the diaper champ. (I am waiting for the day he can change his own diapers LOL)

He will keep saying NO over and over and over again if I am watching anything thats not on the sprout channel.

He laughs when anyone farts (himelf included)

He can say grandma, grandpa, uncle and auntie to my husband and my parents and siblings.

He knows his animals, Horse, cat, dog, duck, pig, ETC
He know to get his shoes to go out when I say "shoe shoe"
He knows the "if your happy and you know it song"
and he just starting trying to sing the caillou theme song

I am sure I am missing a whole bunch of stuff, but that's all I can remember for now.

I can't believe he is 19 Months!! 5 more months until his 2nd Birthday! oh my! Is it time to start planning his party?? hehehe.

Jacob is finally getting his molars in, and he is the saddest boy in the world :(

For the pass 2 weeks He has been;

Drooling alot
his gums are sensitiv (he usually enjoying brushing his teeth but not he wont let me near him with a tooth brush)
He has been very fussy
Tossing and turning in his sleep
and bad breath ewww
Refusing food

This is the hardest part, I am so scared he is not getting enough to eat!
He usually enjoys all types of food, but now the only thing he would eat is soup mixed with rice. So that's all I have been making for him. He still enjoy his yogurt and milk.

I am taking him to the dentist on saturday just to check things out, hopefully everything will be fine. Sometimes I feel I need a professional to tell me everything is fine, so I can rest easy.

The only thing that seems to help him is the Zoli Gummy sticks

NewBorn Must haves

It's been awhile since Jacob has been a Newborn, but after many trial and error I have come up with a list of newborn must haves.

Born Free baby bottles

This bottle is leak proof.
It comes with a "venting system" has a little, rubbery insert that goes under the nipple and protrudes into the bottle. this protuberance as an air venting slit that keeps the nipple from collapsing, and of course it's BPA free
Jacob has never had any gas problem and he is still using Born Free products, like the sippy cups and straw cups.

The fisher price Rock and play sleeper

I wish I found this from the start, Jacob was in a regular bassinet for the first 2 months and like all newborns he would wake every hour screaming and crying. While I was on my babies r us run, I saw this and there was a sticker on the box that reads "Your baby will sleep thur the night" I was in such a desperate sleep deprived haze. I actually picked it up and just threw it in my cart. I think that was the smartest thing I have ever done in my life. The first night I put him in there he slept for more than 3 hours straight! For a new mom that's a whole lotta sleep!
This sleeper is fold able, so when I visit my mom I would bring this along with ease.
I recommend this to all my girlfriends and have bought them as gifts and each and everyone of them have thank me for it. Your welcome ladies!

We wished this for feedings and did his tummy time on it. He used to do little push ups on it. It was sooo darn cute!

A diaper clutch is what I call this. I load it up with diapers and wipes. It is so much easier than taking the whole diaper bag in the bathroom with me while I am out. I can clean everything up with one hand.

OK, I hate the smell of this, but it does wonders for diaper rash. I would put in on him before bed and in the morning his rash will be all healed! like magic!!

Great Find

I love target! I can always find some great clearance items.

I stopped over to target during lunch yesterday and saw a sales person loading this Cars Table on the clearance section.

This is the prefect little table for him! My Brother and sister in law bought him an elmo couch that will work with this. The price? a whooping $6.95!

He can learn some table manners! hahahaha
He had dinner at his little table for the first time last night. He wanted me and my husband to join him there... which we did.... we had to sit on the floor, Japaneses style. It's just a tad uncomfortable for us, but he loved it.
This also came with dry eraser markers so you can draw on the table.... we will be hiding those from him for a while.

Birthday Weekend

First I need to say I have the most amazing friends and family a gal could ask for.

I turned the big 3 0 on Sunday Dec 4th. My friends and family has made it such an amazing event.

On Friday night, I was just suppose to have dinner with my hubby, my brother. my SIL, my BFF and her BF, but it turned out to be a huge surprise birthday dinner with all my friends! I was truly surprised and had an amazing time.

My mom (whom is the best cook ever) would cook a huge homemade meal with the birthday boy or gal's favorite dishes. So on Saturday she did just that, and addition to that, my brother and sister in law decorated my mom's house in a hello kitty/30th birthday theme! hahaha it was super cute!
We had Crabs, lobsters, shrimps, chickens and many more, needless to say.. I pigged out... big time!

On Sunday, my wonderful husband took me to the Poconos, a couples resort get away. We had suite with our own Private pool and jacuzzi. It was a much needed R&R for the both of us.
(Jacob had a sleep over with my parents while hubby and I was away)

I even got a little "Happy Birthday Mommy" phone call from my sweet little boy (ok it sounds more like "hapy boo mummie")
and today is Tuesday, I maybe back at work, but my coworkers have surprised me with a wonderful birthday breakfast.

It was a FIVE days celebration!

My friends and family have made turning 30 into such a wonderful experience. I am truly blessed

Playing Hookie and touching a museum

As a working mom, I often feel guilty for not spending enough time with my child. So once in a while I would take a day off and just spend some time with him.
Today I did just that, One of my best friend (we go way back.. like 3rd grade back) told me yesterday she wanted to take her kids to please touch museum, So i decided to take the day off and tag along.

I LOVE the please touch museum, Its just the cutest place. Jacob had such a great time with his friends, we saw a puppet show, did story time, interactive exhibits... and so much more.

If you are ever in Philadelphia, it's a must see.

Aveeno baby lotion

I told ya I love the Aveeno baby lotion. I love the oatmeal, it keeps my skin nice and smooth. I love the lavender scent at home, I had to get a Fragrance free one for work. I have one of those co- workers with a sensitive nose.

Method Hand sanitizer

from target its the "sea minerals" kind. Not sure what that means but if gives off a nice clean scent, not over powering.

I love the sweet mint smell, its like gum and the packaging is super cute. I am a sucker for cute packaging's

Toddler winter skin care routine

So the weather here is not exactly cold yet. Its strangely warm here in east coast for the end of November (not that I am complaining), but the cold weather is right around the corner and my poor baby has dry skin. (He gets that from his Daddy)

So I made some changes to his skin care routine to keep him baby smooth all winter long.

Johnson's moisture care baby wash

I switch from the yellow Johnson baby wash to the pink moisture care baby wash.

I can definitely tell the difference. It really gives that extra little moisture.. and I prefer this scent.

Vaseline baby petroleum jelly

I used this for his diaper rashes. The baby ones are awesome, they have this nice soft baby powder scent.

Aveeno baby calming comfort

This is my favorite lotion.

I have been using this since last winter. It didn't really calming him down... but I love the nice lavender scent.

Weleda Calendula Face Cream

THE best face cream for the sensitive baby skin. For his little dry cheeks I love using this face cream. It heals any dryness over night. He loves rubbing in his cheeks himself.

Not a fan of the scent.

Side note: I thought I lost this last week, and had to re order. Of course as soon i re-ordered it I found it hidden in Jacob's toy chest. It all worked out because the price of this product is usually around 12 dollars and it is now on sale at amazon for 7 dollars. Now I will have one for his diaper bag.

Baby Aquaphor

I only use this for extremely dry skin, I do not like the greasiness of this, but I use a little dab of it on his chin where he gets drool rash.

With all these wonderful product, Jacob's skin will stay baby soft all winter long.

18 months

Jacob is all toddler now. He runs, climb stairs, TALKS BACK!

he can say so many words now; yes, no, no more, please, thank you, he knows what to call his grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Seems like he learns something new every day.

Jacob's One Year update

Now that Jacob is ONE, here are some milestones he has hit:

Self feed finger foods
Imitates sounds
Blows bubbles and ‘raspberries’
Babbles “baby talk”
Only calls me “maaaa” when he is upset
Calls his dad “Diddy”
Go from laying down to sitting independently
Pulls self to a stand
Shakes his head and say NO
Wave bye bye… he does that to EVERYONE….
Greet EVERYONE…. He uses the same “bye bye” wave
Clap his hands when he sees others doing it, or he will clap when we say “pat pat” which is Chinese for “clap clap”
We have a walker! Within 4 days he went from take a few baby steps while holding my finger to almost running across the room all by himself
Learned to climb off the couch

A few things we are stuff working on:

Feeds self (with spoon)
Calling me momma more often (he called he mimi a few times when he wasn’t fussy)
Sit still long enough for story time.
Drinking from straw

His one year check up will be tomorrow, so we will see what the doctor says. I believe he is developing just fine, but we will see.

Happy First Birthday to my Coo Coo Bean

His actual birthday was Monday May 9^th and his party was on Saturday May 7^th .

It was a success! We had a barn yard theme party (his favorite ipad game is “peeka boo barn”). We had the party at the Camden’s Children Garden. We were in a big tent, there were mini train rides, carousel, butterfly house, plenty of places for all the kiddies to run around.

We had pizza and wings with the usual snacks.

I sure am glad it’s over, it was a pretty stressful month leading up to the party.

Baby Crush

Jacob is teething right now, so he would wake up scream-crying from the pain. It's such a sad hearbreaking cry, I tried giving him orajel but he refused to open his mouth.

The only thing that stopped him from crying is the orajel BOX. When I take the box away he would cry murder.

I think he has a crush on the baby on the orajel box. When he sees that box, he smiles and laughs. He would look at it, hug it, laugh at it. He would happily open his mouth as long as he has that box in his hand. Whatever gets him thru the night!

*shaking my head* Out of all the toys and blankets I buy him, its the orajel box he likes best.

Oriental Coleslaw Recipe

A very yummy and easy to make salad.

I got this recipe from a co-worker who made it for our pot luck office party during Christmas.
I made it for the first time this weekend and it was a BIG hit.

Salad
1 lb pkg prepared coleslaw
5 green onions
2 pkgs ramen noodles, crumbled
4 oz slivered almonds
2 oz sesame seeds
1 stick butter

Dressing
1/2 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Veg oil
1/2 Cup white vinegar
1 Tablespoon Soy sauce

Melt butter in pan. Sauté ramen noodles (do not use seasoning), almonds and sesame seeds until golden brown. Cool.
Chop green onions and add to coleslaw.
Add sauté mixture to coleslaw.
Mix dressing and add to coleslaw when ready to serve.

After 8 months my old bottle drying rack is falling part, well RIP. I never really liked the thing anyway. It was cheaply made, flimsy and it was a pain in the booty to clean.

I finally order what I had my eye on for months.

The "aww" factor

Back during my pre-Jacob days, whenever I see or hear a baby/child cry in public (ie: plane, bus, store etc) I would roll my eyes and think "omg, why can't you keep your kid quite?"

I have just realized that I have replace the eye rolling with "Awwwww is she/he ok??"

Yesterday at a Target run with my Momma, we were in the baby clothes department, as I was digging in the sales section, I can hear a child crying (more like screaming murder), Instead of ignoring the cries, which is what my pre-baby self would have done, I find my self LOOKING for the child, instead of being annoyed, I found myself wondering if he/she was hurt? or lost?. He wasn't hurt, his mother was just on the other side of the department ignoring him while he cried like a monkey and half way out of his stroller towards freedom.

But that wasn't the point, the point IS.... that I have gone all ....SOFT and MUSHY. My old cynical and obnoxious self is slowly fading away.

What is happening to me?????

I blame this on Jacob! You are turning Mommy soft and mushy....... the inside AND outside!!!!!!

8 months Sleep Regression?? He is not 8 months YET!

The dreaded 8 months sleep regression has begun. Which means I can kiss my sleep goodbye (once again)

Putting him to bed at night time has been a nightmare, cries, cries, cries, I love the look he gives me as he is fighting sleep/me "COME ON LADY! CAN'T YOU SEE I'M UNHAPPY! DO SOMETHING!! I DON'T WANT TO SLEEP AND I DON'T WANT TO BE AWAKE EITHER!! DO SOMETHING!"

Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do about it,I am suppose to just wait it out.
After 3 hours of google-ing here's basically what I found out

“The “8-month sleep regression” (which for some babies is closer to a 9-month sleep regression) is related to the 37-week spurt. For some reason that one just seems to cause more waking, too, than some of the other spurts do. It might also be particularly hard because many babies are smack in the middle of working on crawling or walking, and also teething"

Wonderful, we are smacked dab right in the middle of this. When he hit the 4 month growth spurt, it took about a week and a half for things to go back to normal.

*sigh* now this is supposedly be the more "awaken" spurt? ugghhh so it sounds like I will have at least one more week.

Its actually pretty amazing to watch how a baby grows into a toddler.

I cannot believe it is 2011 already. My little boy is growing up so fast
and my 2 main resultion this year is to keep up with this blog and to lose the baby weight!

I have been slacking, 8 months post partum and I havent lost a pound! Infact....i think I may have gained!!!!!! the HORROR.

A little update on Jacob:
He will be 8months on the 9th of janurary
He is a eatting machine... no probmelms with soilds so far
he is a bad sleeper, very fussy and takes forever to go down at night
he can sit and stand with support but shows no sign of crawling.
he has NO teeth yet

....with a 2 month old!
I have stopped blogging in my 3rd trimester. At the time i thought I felt tired and drained, well that is NOTHING compare to now!

My little one was born on May 9th 2010. Yep, he was born on mother's day.Labor was terrible, I was in there for over 48 hours, they had to redo my epidural THREE times! I finally felt the numbness with the last one but that didn't last long, it all wore off before I had my baby. All the pain was worth it as soon as I saw my baby.

So it has been two months, it has been pretty stressful. I had to deal with a slight case of PPD , moving into a new house and a screaming baby.

All I have to say is thank god for my family and friends who has help out. Without their help I think my slight case of PPD would have went off into the deep end.
I have to thank my mom most of all. She has taught me so much in such a short amount of time. I hope one day to be as great of a mother as she is.

After 2 months, I think I am finally finding my place. Jacob still doesn't STTN but I guess that's normal since he is so young (however, it would be nice for ME to STTH)

I am so excited to be a mom and can't wait for my baby to hit his milestones. He changes everyday! He is amazing, I could sit here and watch him all day long.

Hello 3rd Trimester! I am officially here! Feeling good and excited.
Took my 1 hour glucose yesterday morning, so far no calls from the doctor so I am taking that as a good sign.

Baby Mak is a growing boy, I think he is running out of room, or he's trying to kill me from the inside. He is pushing and kneeing me like crazy. I can see his little arm pushed against my belly! It's amazing what our bodies can do.

My friends who are already moms called me a few days ago telling me to start buying some winter baby stuff since everything is on sale. So I did my first batch of baby clothes shopping! I had so much fun! There are so much sales at Kohls! I even got him a little Monkey suit hahahaha

BabiesRus was right next door so I went in and found some cute Amy Coe T shirts for less than 5 bucks each. I love little clothes with skulls hahaha reminds me of his daddy!

I got about 7 outfits all together and it all costed me about 30 bucks. How awesome is that??

Diaper Bags

I am a total bag/purse whore so when I found out I was pregnant, one of the first things I started thinking about buying was a Diaper Bag.

I have alway had my eyes on the juicy couture diaper bag

So during my 3rd month my Aunt from Hong Kong came to visit, I saw the bag at nordstrom and couldn't put it down. Next thing I knew my aunt grabbed the bag and bought it for me! It was a big pink bag (my favortie color) but we still didn't know the gender, my aunt justifted the bag by saying it will be ME carrying the bag not the baby, so that makes it ok. hahaha

That was the first bag....

My second bag was an implusive buy, saw it online, loved it and bought it. This was last week, so I know little bambino was a boy.

Month 7!

I can't believe I'm in my last trimester.... I feel like I have so much to do, and no time to do it.
The house is still not finished and this crazy weather here in Philly is making it so hard to get around. The sun is back out today and I hope it melts all ice so we (they) can get back on track!

I went to lap corp to take my glucose test this morning, but who knew they didn't do THAT test on Saturdays! Now I have to take it on a weekday... as if I didn't have a job!

I am however looking forward to my ultrasound on the 1st. Its to make sure the cyst on his head we saw on our 20 weeks US is gone. I want to see my little bambino (and to make sure he's a boy!)

Just 3 more months! seems just like yesterday when my morning sickness was nonstop and me and k would guess the gender everyday hehehe
